HELP! Cat is Chewing cords at night!

My 2 year old cat (is 15lbs and about 75% bigger then her sister) is chewing cords at night. These cords can’t be covered as she is pulling the cords out of the wall and knawing on the plug in itself. She has food, water, and a clean litter box, but will always go to this one side of my room to chew cords. Her litter box is unfortunately in our only bathroom, which is connected to my bedroom. Her food and water are in kitchen. She has severe panic attacks when crated or put in rooms that are locked out. The calming meds won’t work every night as her vet says continued longer use could harm her. I don’t know what else to do?! She’s waking me up between 4-6am. My insomnia from her chewing is driving me crazy. I have a cpap machine and a adjustable bed base. How do I get her to stop?! Not even bitter sprays work!!
