I just got 2 parakeets and this my first time owning pets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My mom was just gifted a pair of month old parakeets. She doesn't really know anything either, so I would like to know the basics like

• How often do I feed them?

• After how long should I take them out of cage?

• Do I need to clean them? If yes then how do I do it and how frequently?

• How do interact with them and build trust with them?

• Any suggestions for names?

• Approx how big should thier cage be?

• I read somewhere you should put toys in their cages. What toys would be appropriate (I have put a hot wheels and Mario figure in there but they aren't interacting with it)

I would be grateful for any help.
