I think the new tenant in the studio next to me has had a hard time and I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think he was homeless for awhile. I had to buy him a phone because he kept knocking on my door to have me order pizza. He knocked for sugar, coffee, you name it. No compunction whatsoever. Obviously he feels I am here to wait on him. I'm 68 and single woman, well there's your reason. Anyway then he got a cat. I thought oh no, please don't be true. But as anticipated, he refused to go out and buy a speck of food and me being a cat lover, I bought a 20 lb. bag of Purina dry food, litter pan, kitty litter, a water dispenser. And ordered a cheap Tracphone flip phone for him. $65 total for that plus $20 for tobacco, $20 for ordering pizza out (he orders pizza about 4 days a week). So I spoke to him today and said he really had to start taking care of his cat. He said he would, but he said that a month ago when he got the kitty. Has anyone ever had to finance someone else's cat?
