Me and my wife bought our first home and we are moving in in 7 weeks. Our current landlord doesn't know we have cats. What should we do with them while the landlord is showing the house to people?

As the title says, my wife and I had aquired two cats from my parents' farm about 2 years ago. We have been renting out our place for 3 years and she is aware of our dog, but not the cats (We would of told her, but the lease allows dogs, but not cats). Since they originally came from the farm, they naturally just want to be outside so that's where they spend most of their time. They mostly just lounge on the front porch. I'll have to tell my landlord that we are closing soon and I don't know what to do about her showing the house to people and hiding the cats until we can move into our new house.

I already talked to my parents about temporarily boarding them but they already have 3 cats so they weren't interested.

Once we get to the new house, I won't have to worry about this at all which will be great, but it's giving me a lot of stress currently.
