EDIT: okay this is funny. Turns out it wasn’t pee. I asked my husband to smell the pillowcase since he’s had several cats growing up to make sure it was pee, as it didn’t smell like pee to me even though it looked it. He realized it was him, when he leaned over to give me a morning kiss before work, his coffee spilled on my pillow and he didn’t notice. Since spilled coffee is slightly yellowy, I thought it was pee. lol Problem averted!! And we had a good laugh. To add, I don’t drink coffee so I wasn’t familiar to the scent of coffee on linen lol
I have a 1 yr old male cat that has been neutered. We live in a one bedroom. I just cleaned his litter box last night. I woke up this morning to pee right next to my head on the pillow. Not a lot, like maybe a tablespoon or two amount, it was still wet, and was able to rinse it out. He has never does this before. He’s an absolute chill cat. There was no other cats recently. We are on a normal schedule, I showered him with attention when he wants to play. I have no idea where this came from. Should I take him to the vet?
