Basically what the title says. The vet suspects that my 6 month old kitten has juvenile gingivitis, and suggested we try brushing his teeth.
I got a cat-safe toothpaste from the pet shop which claims to be beef flavoured, but the flavour seems to be really mild (it barely smells of anything), so he doesn’t like it, and won’t let us brush his teeth with it (we’ve tried just fingers, cotton buds, toothbrushes from the pet shop).
I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with a particular brand of toothpaste that your cat really liked the taste of, that we can at least use to get him used to the process of teeth-brushing?
Thanks!
