Hi all. I have a cat , a male persian + Angora mixed (8 months old) . He suddenly became aggressive towards me and try to attacked me which has never happened before during these 6 months we've got him. So today I was using a knife in the kitchen and got myself cut , I bled so I went to applied some alcohol and medicine. My cat followed me and he started to sniff around and started meowing. So I thought he's just curious about my wound so I let him smelled my finger that was cut. As soon as he smelled my hand, he hissed and started being aggressive and tried to attack me. I have no idea what it was. Was it the smell of the medicine? I have never experienced this before. Therefore, please , if anyone has any idea.
