my cat isn’t overweight yet but close, so i decided to feed him less. now he’s meowing all the time and standing in front of the cupboard where the food is in. i’ve been trying to distract him by playing a lot with him but it only helps temporarily. but i also don’t want to give in now and feed him because this way he will think he is in control and will keep on meowing whenever he wants to eat. what should i do??
