In March of 2020 for My 30th birthday (the day covid hit), my parents adopted a little pup for me as a gift. Right after, I saw this random TikTok that showed a couple with their dog traveling the world with the text of “your dog only sees the world you show them, so show them the world”. It hit me in a real way and made me rethink the way I am a dog owner.
Because of this, I quit my job to work for another one that allowed me to work from home and my little pup and myself have been able to take many trips together.
During covid we took the trips we could together (going camping, hiking, etc.), then to weekend trips where the restrictions would allow. Then worked up to a cross country trip together, taking a picture of him infront of every new state sign. Now, in November, we will be going on our second international trip together 🥰
In What would have been horrible almost 2 years, and rather isolating, he has made me happier than anything and so excited to get up everyday and explore new things!
I know this is a sappy post, and if you have gotten to this point I am presently surprised lol. But I just had to say, my pup has saved my life and I am so glad I was able to save this little guy that once lived on the streets. And I am so happy we get to explore the world together 🥰
