So I have 7 cats they are all siblings, I “rescued” their mom 3 years ago when she was pregnant and always did my best taking care of them. (she came to my house and chose to become part of the family)
I live in a country with zero shelters or functioning pet rescue organizations, when they were babies I tried to find them awesome homes where they could provide for them better than I could, nobody adopted them and the ones who asked didn’t view them as love and respect deserving beings so I was hesitant to give them away , that’s how I became the caregiver of a cat family.
I’m a student and my mother had to take financial responsibility we have struggled but we have been able to give them a happy life filled with love, this year she became unemployed,this year the cat mom Oreo got sick , we took her to a vet we have never gone before it was the only one we could afford, the price of the consult and treatment proved it’s quality she died that day….
The last months I’ve been struggling to pay for food and cat litter (I ve borrowed money from my grandparents) , most importantly two of them are sick right now I can’t afford any vet nor medicines , I really want them to get better I don’t know what to do.
