So my dog encountered a possible rabid dog today, and I am losing my mind thinking if my dog was infected by it or not since he hasnt been vaccinated yet. So we were in our house and suddenly the possibly rabid dog came at our gate nd started barking at a gap in the gate. Then my dog came in and tried to attacj the dog to scare it away and the rabid dog flinched but was yet barking. Their faces were near each other at that time and im wondering if the saliva from the rabid dogs barking was inhaled or was exposed to my dogs nose? Is it possible for my dog to get infected by it in that way? Please i need answersss badly. I cant go to a vet since its vey far and towns are still in lockdowns
