Is it normal for them to have a way lower minimum crude protein % than dry food? I got some dry food with about 40%, as I did research that basically said, the higher the crude protein, the better, and sources said, 30%, 35%, 40%, that kind of range.
So, when I looked into wet food and treats, they barely have any (like 7-15%, usually 10%)! Is this normal? I’m a bit concerned about how I’d feed my growing kitten those if they’re lacking in protein.
This is my first kitten so I’m new to this and want to feed him the best (his kibble doesn’t have starches in the first 3 ingredients). Thank you!
