So my dog has allergies really bad and has been scratching himself until he bleeds. We put a rubber shoe on his paw so he couldn’t scratch himself. We took it off after a few days (I know we weren’t supposed to leave it on that long, just forgot) and his paw is a little swollen and red/pink. It had a little bit of a smell that went away after a bath. He was not walking on it a few hours ago but now he is putting most of the weight back on it. Is this cause for immediate concern?
