Background:
I recently started work as a vet assistant. Benefits include vision, dental, medical, retirement... and dog sitting.
I can take my dog to work with me, and there's a kennel area for employee pets. Each kennel is large enough for a medium sized dog to move around in, and there's a full sized yard out back for walks and playing.
I have three 10 minute breaks, and a 30 minute lunch over a 12 hour shift, and I work 3 days a week. I'm off 4 days in a row.
Question:
With all of this in mind, could I train a puppy? It's seems pretty doable, and I've wanted a beagle for a long time. I've trained pups before, but I was only working part time and had tons of time at home.
EDIT: If it makes a difference, I'm looking at beagles, but am open to other ideas.
