Hey! Just looking for information. My dog ate a piece of sugar free gum. She vomited almost immediately and in my stupid-ness, I didn't realize it was toxic. That was 36 hours ago and as I was driving home from work today, I realized it was toxic. The vet said "the damage has already been done" and we can come in if we want to get her checked up. She is still acting the same. Playing. Eating. Drinking. Just vomited the first time and once during the first night. Any one else have this happen and their dogs turn out okay and healthy? I'm just worried by the vets comment, although true.
