Hey! I moved to another country almost 2 years ago leaving all my family and friends behind and my 6 year-long relationship has ended 7 months ago -well yea tried long distance didn’t work out WHAT A SURPRISE. I live alone in an apartment with a crazy work schedule now. I’ve been sleeping with the wrong person for a few months and I’m stupidly falling in love with that person who does not deserve it and very clear about we will never ever become a thing. Oh and by the way I’m broke.
My friends suggested me that I should get a cat. They said it would be good for me to get over my old relationship and become more independent from other people - you know like not booty calling the person who you’re nothing to -
I love cuddles and I love animals but I’ve never experienced taking care of any pet myself and I don’t know if I have what it takes to get a cat. I don’t just want to adopt a cat and make it’s life miserable having to leave it alone in a small apartment 15 hours a day or something. I’m right right? I just shouldn’t do it?
