Hello, I have a nine year old shin tzu who has just started having bloody mucus-like stool. My dog does strain trying to get it out and I researched that it means there could be a problem in her lower intestines/colon. However, my finances are tight right now and I don't have enough for a vet visit, in addition to all the tests they'll need to run. Are there ANY home remedies anyone can give me while I can save more money to take her in later this week in the meantime? Please. Any tips would be appreciated. She is still acting normal and still eats/drinks.
