I am moving to AZ in July. It is a 29 hour drive and I know there are pet friendly hotels. I am going to seek those out.
My cat is ok in a car. If I don't cover the cage she is in then she just meows 99% of the time we are in the car. Even if she can see me. If I cover the cage then we have car sickness. Happened once and I never covered the cage again.
Getting her into the cage is a different story and not something I'm looking forward to.
Anyway, besides putting a litter box on the floor behind my seat and stopping every 5-7 hours for her, bringing wet food, and a water bowl and towels, is there anything else I'm missing?
I want to make sure I know as much as I can prior to this move. Thanks in advance!
