I am planning on getting a kitten soon and I am wondering if it's best to file his/her nails rather than clipping them? I was traumatized as a kid because my mom would cut our dog's nails in the bathroom and she would always cut them so short that the dog would end up bleeding everywhere and we had to take it to the vet a LOT.
