His testicals have stitches on them, but his belly then also has a 1 inch incision. Why?? I have never seen a male cat get the stomach incision, and I am worried they did unnecessary surgery on him. Please help my understand. I ready that for dogs they will remove the testicals through the stomach, but i don’t understand why he would have incisions on both locations if this was the case.
They didn’t give any pain meds to take home and this seems like a more painful procedure.
Sidenote: he also reeks of urine. How long after his surgery do I have to wait to give him a bath?
