Basically as title says, found worms on cat and taking her to the vet asap. I'm 99% sure its tapeworm, as we just went through a pain-in-the-ass flea infestation that took 2 cycles of flea medication to treat! Now I've found a fucking worm near my cat's bum that is exactly like the one in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJR-nLZult4
So back to the vet for my poor baby.
My question is basically should I go get deworming tablets too, or am I being overly paranoid? I'm so so grossed out by the worm, and really would rather not get tapeworm, but I'm not sure exactly how at risk I am. I cuddle my kitty a lot and she sits on me all the time, but she doesn't bother me around my own meal times or sleep in the same room as me at night.
