Hi all, in need of some advice. We have a kitten (10 months). We will be going out of country for 8 days and aren’t sure what to do with him. He’s very affectionate, lap kitten, who loves pets, attention, and being held.
Option 1: Board him at my parents house. My mom is retired and can watch after him 24/7. However, this means removing him from the comfort of his home. Also, my parents have had a cat before, but still aren’t the best with animals.
Option 2: Pet sitter drop-ins. Leave him in our apartment, his home, and have friends and family come and check in on him when they get a chance. These friends are good with cats.
What would y’all do/suggest?
