Guinea Pig pee's blood even after bladderstone surgery.

So, long story short we lost a guinea pig in January from some unknown complication after getting a bladder stone removed. It ended with him peeing spots of blood, and then he just up and died on the bed. Fast forward to now, last week we had another guinea pig get the exact same surgery done, bladder stone removed, this one went off without a hitch, he was doing much better, and was on TMS and Meloxicam. Just starting this Thursday, he started peeing little blood spots and now its happening far more frequently. Went to the vets today, he said it may be some residual inflammation that flared up, so we are back on meloxicam, going to be at 2 doses a day. However, my girl is out so I'm taking care of him, he just squeaked, and pee'd more blood. It seems to be getting worse, but the vet doesn't seem to think its another bladder stone, due to not seeing more when he was in there. My concern is we aren't going to catch it in time if it is something else major, but understanding the Meloxicam can't immediately take effect. Has anyone seen anything similar? He had the surgery last Tuesday, and the vet has already said its abnormal for this to happen. Hence the visit today and the decision to shift to 2 doses of Meloxicam a day. I just don't want to see him suffer/pass and have her go through that without us exhausting every option. Any sort of ideas could help ( I'm not guinea pig savvy, I just know the do's and don'ts and how to get him to eat)
