I don’t have much experience with small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, mice, gerbils and such but I have interacted with pet rats before. From what I’ve been reading, these types of pets get stressed out easily and shouldn’t be handled too much, is this true? I know rats do bond with humans and can be taught tricks, but is this also true of rabbits or hamster? Rodents and rabbits seem to very popular, much more so than ferrets. Ferrets are very high maintenance and I don’t recommend them to most people, but I love them and they’re my favourite pets.
