My indoor cat got out by accident, and he actually came back to our window area, however, we live on the first floor of an apartment building so he can't reach it. When I went outside to get him in the carrier, he was terrified of me and didn't know who I was. I was also calling his name and approaching slowly at the same time, but he still ran away.
I just want him back home, how can I catch him? Will towels of rope from our window let him climb back home or is there also another way?
