I'm 14 and I've only lost 1 pet but it was sick and young,, I have two old cats who will die pretty soon based on their conditions and I act like don't care because it's just two animals but it sometimes gets to me that they won't be there when I walk in from school. I've tried to convince myself I don't care but deep down I'll miss them and I want to get another old cat just to soften the blow but my dad won't allow me they probably have about a year or two left and I don't know how to deal or how to prepare I'm not a very emotional person so I want to respond correctly and not seem obscene any advice?
