I was at the police station regarding a car break in and a woman came in and found kittens in the trash. It was late so she had nowhere to take them. I took them for her because I know of a good shelter so I planned to take them there the next day. I am very very allergic to cats but had no reaction to the kittens. (Is this because they're so young?) I kept the kittens for two days and then took them to the shelter I trust. An article came out saying how LA has a kitten crisis and that 1,000's are euthanized a year. I contacted the shelter and the kittens are too small so they're in foster care. (About 8 weeks old) I feel terrible. Should I have kept them even though I am allergic and it's such a long commitment?
