There are at least 2 if not 3+ outdoor cats in my neighborhood that love my patio.
They're using my entry way as a litterbox and they drive my dogs crazy at all hours of the day and night. I've spoken to my neighbors that I can identify as the owners about keeping their cats indoors and it's futile.
So what can I do the keep the kitties off my patio without hurting them or my dogs?
The patio is surrounded by 2 block walls and a chain link fence. We put spike strips on the block walls but the HOA didn't like that plus the cats could hop the chain link fence so it accomplished nothing. I tried lavender but they litterally crapped right next to the plants.
I'm at a loss and a different [a$$ hole] neighbor has called the HOA on us multiple times for our dogs barking [at the cats] after 10PM. And I just got a citation for feces on our patio as well which was actually cat poop cause my dogs don't crap on our patio but I do pick up cat poo regularly.
Help!!! Any suggestions are appreciated.
