I'm seriously thinking about adopting/ buying a puppy and I'm looking for some advice. I'm 25yrs old I work full time between the hours of 11 to 7 mostly and I get 2 days off a week, average for most adults i believe.
The reason I'm thinking about getting a pet is because I've been feeling lonely for some time and I would like some consistency in my life. I also may have some type of depression from time to time. I want something to care about more than myself. More of a reason to get up in the morning than just the regular go to work the gym blah blah same old.
I grew up having several different animals around. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, gerbils, fish. I have experience caring for animals with other people in the home.
I'm looking for pros and cons of raising a small puppy/dog in an apartment living alone while working a full time job.
I feel the experience will benefit me, however I want to be the best dog mother i can be. I've never raised a dog on my own while working full time.
Any advice or opinions are appreciated !!!! Thank you for reading !!!!
