For some backstory to get an idea of my relationship with this cat, he came from a litter of four kittens from a cat we were fostering. Originally we were only going to keep one but we got really attached to both of the girls, and the boys really liked me so we kept them all. When he got old enough to roam around the house freely he and his brother would spend most of their time in my room and sleep in bed with me. Onto the story: I was hanging out with my friend and he asked me if I wanted to do something. I did that stupid thing and it ended up giving me an asthma attack and freaking me out. I thought that I was going to die, and I was panicking. I layed down on the couch so I could catch my breath and my cat walks onto my lap because he can tell I'm upset and starts kneeding into my chest and snuggling with me until I calmed down.
