Pet Squirrel

I've been having this Indian Palm Squirrel since like 6 months now and I actually rescued him from my backyard after a snake has destroyed their nest while their eyes are still closed. There were two of them but one died of infection in the first month. We made this wooden cage for him with bedding, a mesh, and a with food and water that I fill everyday. I've been taking care of this squirrel so we'll just like my cat and dog, which have been with me for a very long time. That's the problem, due to the cat in the house and the dog outside, we cannot let the squirrel roam around the house. So it's only places it knows is it's cage and my room. However, this visit to my room has become less frequent due to the job situation in Sri Lanka, where my parents are trying to find jobs and my olvls going on right now. So, the squirrel is getting more and more less mobile and enthusiastic day by day due to it being in it's cage all day. And which I have no time, as well as my parents to tend to it's daily dose of playfulness in the room, which is getting harder due to having time to feed all three pets. So, I'm conflicted in letting it go to the wild, because I know he isn't experienced at all with the outside and probably might die within a few days but I don't have time to tend to it's needs and my schedule isn't changing any time soon. What do I do.

TL:DR - Do I let my pet Squirrel go into the wild due to my busy schedule in trying to tend to his needs even though he isn't experienced since birth.
