Pros/cons of Wholehearted cat food? Anyone used the discount membership?

I just came across the Wholehearted (petco brand) membership option on their website. For $29 per year you get 25% off all Wholehearted products. We have 5 mouths to feed--4 indoor cats and 1 outdoor feral that we've taken care of for awhile and we're trying to find a home for, though she might just end up staying with us.

Some back of the envelope math says we'd end up saving about $200 a year. We often order online, but we also have a Petco between home and work that comes in handy in a pinch. So for us this seems like a decent move financially. We've been experimenting with the Wholehearted wet food lately and the cats seem to enjoy it. We mostly stuck with Fancy Feast Classic Pate before, so this seems like a good switch.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand long term? Has anyone chosen to join the membership? Searching for reviews online netted me a few positive comments, but mostly I got stuck down the rabbit hole about whether grain-free foods are worth it or safe or disastrous or just trendy, yada yada yada. A lot of annoying hot takes, not as much concrete info or personal experience.

Any constructive thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
