I cant get a cat or dog because my brother is allergic and my parents dont want anything running around in the house.
I'm looking for an animal that's smart, a companion and is rather common. Size doesnt matter. I dont like rodents like hamsters, and I already have fish/aquatic animals, so dont suggest them. I have a backyard (around 100 square feet) and lifespan doesnt matter. I have a college plan for the animal. Nothing too loud/smelly either.
So far I've considered rabbits, snakes, chickens/ducks, hedgehogs and chinchillas.
