Hello,
I've been Googling all around and I can't seem to find anything about my issue.
My girlfriend and her mom decided to rescue some abandoned Kitten from the backyard of someone her Mom knew.
So they are potentially flea ridden. My girlfriend handled the kitten to feed them etc, yesterday.
Now, I am scared of her coming to my house because I have two cats. Is my fear justified? Could they hitchhike on her from her mom place and than my cats gets them? She was at school all day and came to my house right after.
They checked and they did not see any fleas but the cats are black so it is hard to tell.
When she arrived at my place she put all her cloth in the washing machine to be on the safe side, but i'm still a bit scared that perhaps her backpack may have some? I tried looking and didn't see anything though..
Am I too paranoiac about how easy it is for flea to use humans as transport?
I know there is less chances since it is still pretty cold outside but still. (I'm in Canada)
