I’ve been thinking of buying a rat because I’ve always thought they were cool. They eat cheese, spread plague, but overall seem cute. I’ve been researching the basics too. Cost, living quarters, food, etc.... and it seems kind of expensive but enough to where I can afford. I have a pet dog; Golden Retriever which is super sweet to other animals, and my sister has a pet cat;Tabby which is just VERY VERY social surprisingly and plus they get along really well. All I want to know is....
Should I get one?
Will my dog and my sisters cat be fine with it living in my home?
And Will anything happen to the rat if I only buy one and not a pair of 2
