Hi, just a quick backstory, there has been a dog at a shelter near me that I've been keeping my eye on for a while. He's exactly what I'm looking for, so I've been wanting to see him but I'm not 100% sure on adoption yet. Is it bad or wrong to visit a dog at a shelter before adopting them? Is it a good thing? I'd like to see him but I don't want to give his hoped up if I am unable to get him for some reason. Any input helps, thanks! :)
