I live with two roommates they own cats as well and I own one cat. I've had her since she was 7 weeks old and she's two now. She is not the most affectionate cat ever but with me she is. She sits and cuddles with me all the time runs to me when I call her name and sleeps with me every night. I love her to death. However she ignores pretty much everyone else and barely tolerates pets from other people she will hiss and swat them away. So now she has the reputation of being the mean cat which kind of sucks because I dont view her as mean. Why is she like that? She is so sweet to me and almost too clingy with me sometimes but ignores everyone else. She is the first cat I've ever owned so I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to maybe help her be more loving to other people.
