I have 2 dogs (and a cat, but he isnt important to this situation) that are all very different. One is a 6 year old Terrier mix that I have had since he was 1 and I take him to the dog park regularly and he loves it. My other dog is an 11 year old Golden Retriever and Black Lab cross that my parents had since she was 8 months old that I have just recently been handed care of. She has never been out of my parents' yard except to visit the vet and I'd like to introduce her to the dog park but am unsure how to do so or if it would even be safe for her or other dogs. She gets along well with my terrier mix and my grandfather's dogs (a beagle and a westie) because they've been around each other since we got them but these are the only other dogs she has been around. Are there any tips to introducing her to the dog park safely or is it too dangerous to try it?
