I'm scared of cats, not like deathly afraid, but their claws make me immensely uncomfortable; therefore, I don't let them sit on me and I avoid making them even slightly agitated or overly playful.
My roommates cat is no exception to this rule.
Whenever I've tried petting her, then she'll bite or scratch at me (she does this with everyone; I do not pet the cat at all anymore. It takes less than 1 minute for her to begin acting aggressive and she has no health issues).
She frequently sleeps on my bed and will bite or scratch me if I move too much. This has worsened over time, too, as she'll now climb on me and meow in my face while I'm sleeping. As soon as I wake up, then she'll leave or begin purring. Sometimes my dog will chase her out of my room, but she'll always come back a few times during the night.
If I close the door to my bedroom, then she meows and smacks the door all night.
Any ideas?
Edit: she's currently growling at my dog and has taken my dog's spot on my bed.
