Needed info: So about a month or two ago, my family and I got a new housemate that has her own dog, Banley (2-3). He is super sweet and fluffy. Wouldn't hurt a fly unless he is protecting his owner or us. He loves hogging the bed. This we know because we occasionally look after him when his owner leaves town.
Problem: We have three dogs in total, Tinker(13-14), Rocky (1 1/2) and Maddix (2) along with two cats, Tiffins (3-4) and Jesse (14). For some reason, Maddix keeps getting aggressive with our housemate's dog. I mean Maddix will snarl and attack him for no reason at all. Maddix hasn't given him any injuries that we can see. But Banley is scared of Maddix. Now we don't want to have to rehome Maddix but he can't keep doing this. Now the last time we took Maddix to the vet, he got aggressive with the vet to the point we had to muzzle him.
Advice? Could Maddix be sick? Could he be in pain?
