Do I really need to neuter my kitten?

He's an indoor almost 7 month old kitten. The reasons people encourage to get cats neutered is because one, they spray. He has never sprayed once in his life but I don't know what will happen in a year or so. Two, roaming dangerously, like I said, he's an indoor cat. There's no way he'll be able to get out, whenever the front door is open or windows, he's in a closed room just in case.

Three, it reduces the risk of developing cancers. I mean, you can say that about almost every human being. If neutering a cat eliminates the risk of developing testicular cancer, why don't we do the same to men? Obviously, we should castrate humans because we also have a chance of contracting those diseases, it's like saying I should cut my arm off since I can get arm cancer. Also, there's not only a cat overpopulation problem but a human too as well.

Sorry if I'm saying anything dumb, I'm just scared and very overprotective of any pet I have, especially with this being the first cat I have, you can assume I am scared about removing a part of my healthy normal kitten that has done nothing wrong (NEVER bit, scratched me, or furniture, not even his scratching board and uses litter box perfectly) and I only got him about 3 to 5 months ago. I want him to have a good life and I'm not very informed about this stuff so please feel free to teach me some things. One question though, my kitten is very sweet and not aggressive at all like I said but he does get hyper often and goes crazy with his toys, is that because he hasn't been neutered yet and will this decrease or be completely gone if he does? Anyways, I really urgently need anyone's advice and personal experiences or stories to know if it's really for the better and if I should do it since it's about time. Thanks!
