I've had him since November and have always fed him the same diet, although the last few days he started doing something new, which is a bit puzzling to me.
Rather than finishing all his food as soon as I give it to him (I feed him twice daily, morning and evening), he now only eats about half of it, and then scratches around his bowl for 2-3 minutes, and then goes away.
By the time I wake up / come back from work, the food is always gone though, so he does ultimately eat it all
