This has happened a few times before to me and it’s really weird. I was just minding my own business when my cat came up to me and started being super affectionate (rubbing around my legs, purring, letting me pet him, etc.) Usually this cat can be pretty evasive so when he comes to me wanting attention I usually try to take advantage of it. So I called him up onto my lap and he immediately started cuddling with me which was nice. I was petting his back and scratching between his ears for about five whole minutes when all of a sudden he just started attacking my arm. All four paws and mouth, like he was trying to kill my forearm. When this kind of thing happens I usually try to ignore him bc I assume it’s hormones or something? So I just let him tear my arm to shreds not really giving a reaction until he just jumped off and ran away. This only happens about once a month and it just confuses me. Anyone have an answer?
