I adopted a kitten back in November. She's about 4-5 months old now and has been a wonderful addition to my life. The only issue is, whenever my roommate and I try eating at our kitchen table she has started to aggressively jump on our laps and jump onto the other chairs around the table. I wouldn't mind her just sitting on our laps or on the chairs, but she is extremely curious about what we are eating and will try to get as close as she can to our food. Yesterday and today shes gotten balsy enough to try and run across the top of the table. This is starting to make it nearly impossible to eat at the table in peace. If anyone else has encountered a similar situation I'd like to know what solutions you've come up with.
Thanks!
