Hello everyone. I wish I had good news but I do not. The dog that was to be put down tomorrow WILL be put down tomorrow. I received an email yesterday from this woman saying she planned to have him put down and then she would bury him in the forest and pray for his soul. Yup, that is what I said.

Many of you have volunteered to help save Seyan, and one of you even asked to adopt him (a person with experience and proper containment facilities), and when this person tried to contact her she would not pick up.

This morning the breeder of the animal actually managed to contact this woman (TWICE) and explain that we had a home for him. Her HUSBAND (who the dog dislikes a LOT) refused to let him live. He is adamant that this animal is killed and would not listen to reason. It is my belief that the animal hates him because he abused it. He refused to cooperate in any way. I believe he must have been abusing it because I cannot think of any other reason why the animal would hate him. It is not in their nature to act this way. remember he is still just a puppy.

I had someone who could have gone to her in 15 minutes - he lives in Toronto - yet she and her husband STILL want to kill the dog. It's like they hate it so much they need the satisfaction of killing it. It is sick.

She has threatened to call the police if I get involved further.

I do not know if she has a Facebook page. She is supposed to be an artist and play in a band. She has not been in Canada long, maybe not even a citizen yet. I do not know any other way to save him. Please do not get into trouble or anything, as she seems to be the type of person who would readily call the police and such. On top of that, we already know about her lack of decency. Maybe intercept him at the vet. I would give money to save him and I KNOW MANY of you folks would as well.

He is scheduled to be put down SATURDAY MORNING at the vet in Liberty Village in Toronto. She will be dropping him off there to be killed. My hands are tied at this point. I am at a loss as to what to do. Her husband would NOT even speak to anyone. As I said, it seems like the dog was abused by this man and he does not want anyone to know, so he wants papers signed that clears him of any responsibility. They say that Seyan is "wild" and uncontrollable. I own Seyan's sister, she is NOT wild. She has never been abused. What else am I to think?

Sad news indeed.
