So idk why exactly, but my cat is constantly peeing and pooping in our coal room. We live up north and the house is heated by a coal furnace. We have a furnace room in the basement, with a giant open pit full of coal during the winters. Either we haven’t noticed in the past, but the cats been here for two years now and this is the first winter we’ve noticed her going potty in the coal. Her white paws are covered in black soot, so we figured she was going in it. But today I witnessed her pee directly on our coal. Anyone else have this problem, or know why the hell this is happening and/or how to stop it???
