Recently moved and renting a room in my roommate's house, who owns the home. All of the doors inside the house have about 2 inches of space between them and the floor.... And it's caused a new bad behavior with my cat...
She is CONSTANTLY going to my roommate's bedroom door, which he keeps shut 24/7, and putting her whole arm underneath while scratching as hard as possible to open(?) the door to get in. There's literally three other closed doors in the house she doesn't care about. She does it at random times whether he is in there or not, even when he is sleeping. It makes a loud banging noise and I'm also worried she's going to claw until damage occurs.
Since this started I've been extra attentive to being sure she is stimulated with lots of playtime and her favorite toys around the house. The only thing I can do is call her to distract her then feed her so she goes to sleep. She has gone in the room maybe no more than three times and doesn't even care for anything inside or exploring.
Please help, I don't want to be kicked out because of my cat.
