My cat is 5 yrs old and he has always hd this problem or biting wires and shoelaces and eating random stuff. We don’t know why. We have tried all kinds of things to stop him. It got so bad to the point where our vet told us he could die if he keeps doing this, he would randomly vomit this stuff backout or poop it out. So we bought a giant cage to put him in at night with his bed, a litter box and water. So that he doesn’t eat random stuff at night when we are all asleep. Today he started foaming and I’m away at college rn and really depressed about it. My family was gonna take him to the medical emergency room. He’s fine now but was foaming for like 2 minutes straight. Any clues on what the issue is. If he does have PICA how is this treated. My vet has always said he’s healthy and he just had this issue. But this is scary to me
