My cat's tail ( just the last maybe 5 cm) was momentarily shut in the door (not fully closed). She didn't yell out but she did pull back her tail and winced when I touched it. She can still wave it about and it's not obviously kinked or lumpy. She hasn't run off to hide or anything and she seems better when I touch it but a bit grumpy. It seems ok, but reading stuff about how they can get nerve damage and paralysis and stuff I'm still worried. I only just had her at the vet for something else and my savings are cleared out, and I don't have enough money to take her until next pay in a couple of weeks. Is it important enough that I should borrow money. Is there any way to tell if she will have nerve damage or a crushed bone or something?
