I would never feed my dogs chocolate, but am wondering how toxic it really is.
A few years ago when I was out my dogs managed to find a box of cocoa powder. When I can home it was spread over the lounge room and the dogs, and they had obviously been licking at it.
It was early, before any nearby vet was open, so I decided to monitor them for adverse effects. There never were any.
Has anyone had any real problems with chocolate?
